Angry Trio Assaults Bouncers In Separate Incidents At CT Restaurant, Police Say

Three women are facing charges after allegedly assaulting bouncers at a Connecticut restaurant in separate incidents.

The alleged attacks happened in New Haven County, at Stonebridge Restaurant on Daniel Street.

Milford Police said they were first called at around 11 p.m. Friday, June 28, when off-duty officers working a private detail witnessed 19-year-old Gisell Materan, of New Haven, throwing up inside the restaurant.

When bouncers attempted to remove her from the property, Materan punched the employee in the face and spit on Milford officers as they arrested her, according to police.

Materan was charged with assault, breach of peace, criminal trespass, and interfering with an officer. She was later released with an appearance ticket for a later date.

Police were called to Stonebridge again the following night, at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, June 30, when two women reportedly became angry after being asked to leave.

Employees alleged that 28-year-old Jacqueline Plumaker, of Newport, Rhode Island, threw a drink at a bouncer and punched him in the face. Officers intervened and escorted her outside where she was arrested.

As the woman was being arrested, 23-year-old Jamie Plumaker, of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, ran up and bit a bouncer on the arm, police said. She was also arrested.

Both women were charged with assault, breach of peace, interfering with an officer, and criminal trespass. They were jailed on $5,000 bond.
